New York City: April 2015

clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them.

Since my first trip to the Big Apple, that is where my heart has remained. From the fashion to the theatre to the concrete playground, there is so much to appreciate and even more to photograph. This is my first trip there with my camera (a Nikon D3100) so I am over-the-moon excited to take TONS of pictures, and they will all be right here. I hope you enjoy my weekend getaway as much as I do!

Day 1:

Right off the plane my mother and I headed straight to the hotel, dropped off the luggage and hit the city in search of some food. We ended up stopping at Academia Barilla, a cute italian bistro. (I recommend!) After this we continued up to my favorite street, 5th Ave. We stopped in Henri Bendel to celebrate their 120th anniversary (which included a HUGE 50% off sale!). I also made sure to snap a picture of a necklace housed in the most amazing jewelry store, Harry Winston. (I love Gossip Girl if you couldn't tell from all the familiar locations.) After this we went inside the tastiest hole-in-the-wall Momofuku Milk Bar, known for the sale of delicious cereal milk. (HIGHLY recommend). Now we are headed to see the the Radio City Spring Spectacular featuring Laura Benanti, Derek Hough and of course, the Rockettes!
