For the Boyfriend

If you have a boyfriend and are anything like me, you prefer shopping for him more than you do yourself. But there are those out there that genuinely struggle when making purchases for the boyf. This all, however, depends on your boyfriend! Is he preppy? Classy? Hipster? Sporty? I've got just the ideas for you.

For the preppy: Bow Ties, Button-Downs, and Loafers. If they're preppy, chances are they like Vineyard Vines and Sperry's. Go for the patterned bow-tie and pair it with a shirt that accents a color in the pattern. For example, this tie, and this shirt. For the shoes, I recommend shoes similar to the Sperry style, but a different brand so they're more unique. I love the loafer by Cole Haan. It's very masculine, and still has the preppy feel.

For the classy: Blazers, Lapel Flowers, and Oxfords. The classy male loves to dress up for any occasion, and you've got to equip him with the proper attire. A basic blazer is essential to the classy man's wardrobe, and Zara does this right. This blazer can dress up any outfit without overdoing it, and it can be paired with a fancier outfit and fit right in. The classy man also does not fear the lapel flower, he wears this proudly (and it looks amazing!). Find this one at Nordstrom. Now to my favorite part: the shoes. Men's shoes just make me so happy, and nothing makes me as happy as seeing my boyfriend rock a pair of Oxfords

For the hipsters: Beanies, Boots, and Bow-Ties. If your boyfriend is a hipster, he is probably rightfully so. He knows how to wear a beanie and boots like nobody's business. Where do you shop for him? Zara. They have the three B's you need to supply your hip-man with all he could need on the daily. They have the beanie here, the perfect boots here, and your ideal bow-tie here.

For the sporty: Sneakers, Cologne, and Shades. Your boyfriend works hard to be fit, and you want to make sure you can help him achieve his fitness goals! Get him the sneakers that look good and work well. I recommend the Nike Rosche Run's in Black. These will go with anything your boyfriend works out in, as well as whatever he wears out! After he works out, however, he will want to smell good (for you, duh) so hook him up with some cologne!  My all-time fav is Jimmy Choo Man. This smells exactly how you want your man to smell. Lastly, find him some shades he can run, walk, and take selfies with you in! Something like these will do.
