Do you ever want to work out and either 1) Feel like you don't have time or 2) Don't want to go to a gym to do so? Well I feel the same, and have a solution. Bedtime fitness. I've made a little bit of muscle building and toning a part of my nightly routine; after brushing my teeth and before washing my face. Want to know how? Just scroll down a little :)
This mini workout begins with squats. The squat technique I find most effective is the squat/leg lift, and I do 20 reps on each side. You'll feel it, I promise.
Next I give the buns a break and do some ab work. I focus on the obliques and the laterals so I can do my best to keep a feminine body shape. I do 15 standard crunches, 15 bicycle crunches and 15 cross body crunches.
Back to the buns. Now I do several versions of a donkey kick, 20 each kind per leg. First I begin with a small pulsating lift, then onto the standard donkey kick, and I do leg lifts that carry from the back to the side.
Thats it! Yes, that's it. Just squeeze it into your nightly routine, I promise you'll love how you feel, and it actually makes you tired!

ps: if you're interested in my fav go-to healthy snacks they're as follows:
1) Acai bowls, either from your local juice bar or homemade! You can get the frozen acai packs by Sambazon to make at home from your local whole foods (I usually get sweetened). I add frozen bananas and coconut milk to the blender and once it's blended I add granola and fresh fruit!
2) Women's Best Slim Protein shakes! They're by far the best protein shakes out there for women and if I don't have time for breakfast, I mix up one of these and I'm set for a while!
