Skincare + Wellness

I'm not by any means doing this whole "wellness" thing perfectly, but I'm going to show you my best efforts. 

Skin: 

So I wasn't a believer in paying much for skincare because I didn't think it could possibly be any different than something from target. I've got news for you. It's very different. My first splurge in skincare was with La Mer's Creme de la Mer. It's expensive, but I'm not kidding 1oz lasted me 6 months and changed my life. However, when I thought my skin couldn't get any better, I switched to Chanel's Sublimage De Fluide. Oh my. You only need a pea sized amount and it's made my skin so clear and the blotchy redness that I used to have is gone! When I have a tan, I don't even wear makeup! I have always had small bumps and little breakouts but I rarely have anything now! 

When it comes to makeup, I only wear Chanel's CC Cream as a "foundation" but its definitely a tinted moisturizer. On top of that, I do a bronzer and highlight in the appropriate areas, and that covers it! I don't use concealer or primer or any of that. 

When it comes to taking off makeup, I use Chanel's Lait Confort. You just do one pump into your fingers, rub it on your eyes and and face, and then take a warm washcloth and wipe it off! I think this contributes to my skin as well. 

With all of this, I think I'm going to start getting facials once a month to just get all of those toxins out, and replenish the skin. 

Hair: 

So I wash my hair around every three days. The first two days, I don't need any dry shampoo, and the third day is when I bring that out. When I wash it, I use The Body Shop's Ginger Scalp Care Shampoo, and Rahua Color Full Conditioner. My go-to dry shampoo is nothing special, but its kick-butt. Batiste baby! 

Fitness:

Foods: 

Guys. I don't eat super well. I've been talking with my friend Allison about this, and that's one of my goals for the upcoming year. However, I try and do more almond/coconut milk than dairy for sure (and if I do dairy, it has to be lactose free) and that's better on your body. I love acai, and that has plenty of antioxidants. I also try to ingest probiotics, whether it be in pill form, or in yogurt (coconut cult) or in drinks! They sell lots of probiotic drinks at whole foods. Gotta help the body fight infections and replenish what you lost from taking antibiotics! But when it comes to dieting, I personally say don't overdo it and make yourself unhappy. Just try and do some portion control and live your life, babe!
